Sugar pills, by definition are inactive substances used to manipulate perceptions.

This is a speculative design project that explores the theme of emotions and actuall functionality of things.

The collection focuses on a set of furniture seats and challenges the viewer to question the role of beauty and function in furniture design, by playing with perceptions of what is most important in a furniture piece. The collection aims to raise questions about the nature of emotions and how they shape our understanding of the world around us.

The Critical Mass: A Digital Rebellion

This collection features soft, gentle forms that get out of control and challenge boundaries.

The pieces in this collection are thought provoking and encourage viewers to question their own perceptions and beliefs and inspire some critical thinking.

Exaggerated and unexpected forms appear as a strange yet beautiful celebration of mid-century Scandinavian design, led by its enchanted, organic curves. Holographic materials and lights contribute to a surreal and almost unattainable result and reflect our vintage narrative of a place that is no longer inhabited. A place that remains in the past, from which we no longer have access, with its own memories and loneliness. No more than an emotional expression of our favorites from the past brought to life in our modern vision.

Coherence is a celebration of the beauty of imperfection and the unexpected from a cynical perspective. Each piece is designed to embrace the idea of mistakes and to showcase the unique character that arises from them.

The collection features furniture pieces that are intentionally asymmetrical, irregular, or otherwise unconventional in their design.
It is a call to accept the beauty of the imperfect and to find coherence in the unexpected.
